Moving house is one of the biggest decisions any of us make and it can be a stressful experience. We recognise that today's property market is constantly changing along with our client's needs and we aim to make the process as stress free as possible by providing a fast, efficient, friendly and pro-active service. No one likes the thought of leaving their loved ones, but it is important to consider the future and to make sure you have adequately provided for your family's needs.

The most reliable way in which to ensure this is done is by preparing a will setting out your personal wishes in respect of the distribution of your assets.

Making a Will - No one likes the thought of leaving their loved ones, but it is important to consider the future and to make sure you have adequately provided for your family's needs.
The most reliable way in which to ensure this is done is by preparing a will setting out your personal wishes in respect of the distribution of your assets.
If you already have a will it is also important to regularly review its contents to take account of any changes in your circumstances that could invalidate the will, such as marriage.
Lasting Powers of Attorney are often considered to be as important as a will, as they provide the appointed Attorney with the power to deal with another person's affairs in the event of them becoming incapacitated or unable to deal with matters themselves.
It is for these reasons that we strongly recommended everyone, regardless of age, to consider obtaining a Lasting Power of Attorney.
Applications to the Court of Protection - In the event that a loved one becomes incapacitated and a Lasting or Enduring Power of Attorney is not in place, we can assist by making an application to the Court of Protection to appoint a designated person to deal with their affairs.
