Jackson Osborne
We act for large employers and small employers, directors and senior managers but also those lower down the ladder. The firm was founded in 2010 by its Principal, Stephen Jackson, as a niche firm providing an expert service, more effective and at more reasonable cost than larger law firms were able to provide. The firm continues in that vein. Where hourly rates are applicable our partner/senior solicitor rates tend to be 35% to 45% less than solicitors with equivalent experience in large commercial practices.

Time and again, we face such practices in disputes and come out winning. Why? Because we specialise, we are enthusiastic, and we don't pass the matter down to junior fee earners under pressure of a huge caseload. We put the time and effort in to all matters we deal with and get results. That's how we achieve record awards for our clients, such as the highest compensation award made by an Employment Tribunal in Wales at nearly 400,000 and the third highest disability discrimination award in UK history.
Services
You come to us to save your time as well as to avoid litigation.
So telling you what's right and wrong is only half the job.
The other half is helping you with drafting letters, working out your script for meetings and generally ensuring effective communication.
Our objective is to prove your case to the employee, if necessary their adviser and, if it comes to it, the Judge.
You are likely to be a manager or director or member of a human resource department.
Apart from writing contracts and policies, we do a great deal of work helping draft letters and announcements.
We help take the stress out of dealing with disciplinary and grievance matters by giving you the support to make decisions with confidence.
