Cartwright Cunningham Haselgrove & Co was established well over a century ago and is now one of London's major suburban firms. We provide a high standard of service while maintaining a friendly and personal approach. We are pleased to say that much of our work comes from previously satisfied clients or on their recommendations.

We deal with many areas of the Law, including house purchases and sales, new builds, shared ownership, leasehold enfranchisement, business law, intellectual property, partnership deeds, contract and other disputes.Party wall matters, boundary disputes, construction matters, divorce, access to children, change of name, medical negligence, employment law, wills, lasting and general powers of attorney, probate and trusts.

The aim of this Department is two-fold: firstly to assist you in formalising your wishes in the event of your death. This department deals with everything to do with businesses, a wide, varied and complex subject. The Litigation Department deals with all kinds of disputes between individuals and/or companies or other bodies.
Services
Cartwright Cunningham Haselgrove & Co is a long-established firm practising many areas of law.
We have offices situated in North East London and Essex.
Our lawyers are organised into teams according to their specialist areas of law, which enables them to pool their experience and support each other during holidays and with second opinion on difficult points.
However, as our client you will have your own lawyer and will not experience the never speaking to the same person problem.
Includes the sale or acquisition of a business, business leases, setting up companies, terms of trading, partnership agreements, shareholders disputes.
Our Wills Departments can quickly, and relatively economically, help to ensure that your estate passes exactly in accordance with your wishes.
Will drafting is complicated and can easily go wrong and should not be left to amateurs.
We can advise you of the most tax efficient means, making use of exemptions, reliefs, allowances and, if appropriate, family trusts.
We can also advise you regarding other arrangements, such as appointing trustees and executors, or guardians to care for children.
Our Partners are willing to be appointed as executors in most cases.
Some estates require special consideration to ensure that the estate is dealt with in as tax efficient a way as possible; for example, multi-million pound estates which we have dealt with.
However, no estate is too small and all require a professional and organised service, keeping clients informed as to progress.
Our extensive experience in probate and trusts enables us to quickly identify and resolve any potential problems and so minimise the expense and stress involved.
The firm also administers a number of ongoing family trusts.
For the business client, we believe our firm can offer a service as professional but more personal than City or West End firms - and at a fraction of the cost.
Our Company and Commercial department deals with everything to do with businesses - obviously an extremely wide, varied and complex subject.
To better improve our expertise, the department is loosely divided into separate (but overlapping) units.
The Corporate Unit deals with the business itself, including its formation, organisation, terms of trading and intangible assets such as intellectual property and trade marks.
Moving home is considered to be the third most stressful life experience (after family breakdown and career change).
We aim to make the process as smooth as possible by keeping you informed at every stage of the conveyancing.
Our lawyers will do all they can to ease your stress, working closely with you to complete the transaction as speedily as possible.
Buying a house is the most expensive transaction many people will ever undertake.
Many bodies need to become involved in the buying and selling of property - Estate Agents, lenders, surveyors and local authorities.
