Rosalind Watchorn Solicitors
Despite lots of publicity 30% of the population does not have a valid will - and possibly as many people do not have a fully up to date will. We can provide guidance when someone dies leaving a will, and where there is no will advise about the rules that apply. We can organise Powers of Attorney or Court of Protection Deputyship Orders, or assist on a month by month basis with finances.

We guide clients through every step of their move. We believe that it is this quality personal service that sets us apart from our competitors. Thank you for the care and attention shown to Mother, my sister and myself during this procedure. My brother and I would like to pass on our sincere thanks to you for dealing with the estate in such a kind and courteous manner and keeping us informed so well.

Both Mary and I have been very pleased with the friendly, yet efficient and professional service provided by you and your colleagues, and will bear this in mind should we need legal services in the future or when making recommendations to our friends and associates.

Rosalind Watchorn set up the firm in 1993 aiming to give a more personal approach to the legal problems that every person faces at some time in their lives.
The firm has gone from strength to strength, developing into a niche private client practice which deals with wills and probate; issues affecting the elderly; tax planning and trusts; and residential and commercial property work.
We now have a staff of 24 including 8 solicitors and 2 specialist paralegals - giving us expertise to deal with all aspects of our areas of work while still enabling us to retain a friendly, personal approach.

Most of us are aware that planning ahead for some of the difficult times can make it far easier and less stressful for us and our loved ones.
This becomes more important as we get older.
Our expertise in later life planning enables us to advise on a range of financial and legal issues that affect the elderly including Tax Planning, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills.
Our solicitors can also offer general advice about how to ensure your financial and property affairs are kept in the best order.
Despite lots of publicity 30% of the population does not have a valid will - and possibly as many people do not have a fully up-to-date will.
Having a valid will in place is the only way to make sure that your money and property goes to the right people.
If you die without a will, there are strict rules about who gets everything, and this might not be to the people you would choose.
When we do a will we will meet up to discuss your wishes and give appropriate advice based on your circumstances.
Coping with the death of a loved one can impose a great strain on you and your family.
We can provide guidance when someone dies leaving a will, and where there is no will advise about the rules that apply.
Our team of probate specialists have over 20 years of experience in dealing with estates in a personal yet professional manner.
Our small but specialised Sheffield probate team will provide that little bit extra - friendly and considered advice while ensuring the administration runs smoothly.
