When a person has no capacity to appoint another person to deal with his or her property and affairs and welfare, a family member or friend who wishes to take on this responsibility will need to apply to the Court of Protection to be appointed as a Deputy.
Our service will include the completion of all necessary documents and dealing with the Court of Protection formalities.
You can get a divorce if you have been married at least a year and your relationship has permanently broken down.
You must have a marriage that is legally recognised in the UK, and have a permanent home in England or Wales.
File a divorce petition - you have to apply to the court for permission to divorce, and show reasons why you want the marriage to end.
Apply for a decree Nisi - if your spouse agrees to the petition, you'll get a document saying there's no reason you can't divorce.
Apply for a decree absolute - this legally ends your marriage - you need to wait 6 weeks after you get the decree Nisi before you can apply.
Our service provides advice on the Mental Capacity Act which introduced Lasting Powers of Attorney, completion of the necessary documents and advice for the Attorneys, as well as subsequenting assistance in registering them.
It is always wise for a Power of Attorney to be prepared when you are fit and well as if it is left too late then it may not be possible to execute a form of Power of Attorney and the matter may then need to be referred to the Court of Protection.
By instructing us to prepare a Lasting Power of Attorney a person can release himself or herself of burdensome tasks in the management of his or her own affairs and can be assured that the document will be drafted in a discreet and dignified fashion.
The law relating to land non attended in commercial and residential properties is complex and technical and we recommend that professional specialist advice should always be sought.
We specialize in providing a range of leases from short term to long term investment leases and are experienced in drafting, negotiating and reviewing leases for the shops, units on industrial estates, stores in shopping centres, offices, factories and short term residential Tenancy Agreements.
These documents can be tailor made to satisfy your individual requirements.
