Services
Based in Sevenoaks, Kent we provide a comprehensive range of legal services to clients, combining the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency with a friendly, personal service.
The firm's practice is large enough to provide advice in all areas of the law undertaken in a provincial practice, but small enough to ensure that the quality of personal attention remains the most important aspect of our service to clients.
All of our staff appreciate that good "plain English" communication is essential to the smooth running of our practice.
Knocker & Foskett was founded in 1730 and is the longest established and one of the largest law practices in Sevenoaks, offering an extensive range of legal services to commercial and private clients.

We have a wealth of experience, acting on behalf of employers and employees, dealing with both contentious and non-contentious employment work, including particularly redundancy consultations, selection and dismissal procedures.
We provide specialist advice and assistance in preparing Settlement Agreements on behalf of employers.
In addition we often advise departing employees on proposed 'without prejudice' severance arrangements and, in particular, the waiver and settlement of their contractual and statutory rights arising on the termination of their employment and the terms and effect of Settlement Agreements.
For our individual and business clients, bringing or defending claims for unfair or wrongful dismissal, the information outlined below sets out the employment-related litigation advice and services we provide and gives a broad indication of the level of fees which we are likely to charge our respective employee and employer clients for the work we carry out in relation to proceedings in the Employment Tribunal.
Our costs are based upon the factors set out in our Terms of Business.
We do not provide fixed fee litigation services for bringing and defending claims for unfair or wrongful dismissal / breach of contract in the Employment Tribunal and our firm's fees are based on the actual amount of time the work takes.
