Child Law Partnership
Established in 2001, Child Law Partnership (CLP) was set up to offer a dedicated family law service to families and parents. We recognise that family breakdown causes emotional upset and distress for everyone concerned. Our specialist lawyers have experience in managing complicated issues. We provide clear, independent and empathetic advice, whilst always maintaining a realistic, honest assessment of your case.

Our experienced lawyers advise clients on all matters surrounding family law and are committed to providing an exceptional legal service. I really cannot thank you enough for all your help, guidance and the expertise throughout the long legal process. I am sure that probably for you it was just another case, but for us it was a life changing experience and thinking about it now from the perspective I know we wouldn't have done it without you.

I wanted to say thank you so much for your help, assistance, patience and valued input. Each of you have been fantastic. Aside from the high quality service I get from Liz and Justin, I wanted to thank your admin staff as frankly sometimes I do not know where we would be without them when they turn around work at very short notice!
Services
Child Law Partnership was established in 2001 in Guildford by Philip Bennett and Peta Malthouse to provide specialist legal advice and representation in children's cases.
Since that time the firm has expanded in terms of size and the areas of family law serviced.
We now provide our clients with advice, support and representation on a whole range of family law matters including divorce, financial settlements & cohabitation agreements.
In addition to the Guildford office the firm is now also located in Basingstoke, Southampton, Portsmouth, Reading and Camberley.
We recognise that it is important to our clients to be in control of the costs of their case.
We are open and transparent with our costs and provide regular cost estimates.
We are proud to be very competitive in comparison to other local firms, without compromising on quality.
We believe that our fees offer excellent value for money.
We offer a fixed fee initial appointment for your first appointment with us.
At that meeting, we can provide you with an estimate of your overall potential costs, based on your particular situation.
Our specialist child law solicitors understand that family relationship breakdown can be very difficult to come to terms with, especially when children are involved.
That is why agreeing the arrangements for your children is absolutely crucial when things go wrong.
At Child Law Partnership, our expert child law solicitors have many years experience in handling cases involving children.
With our skill, experience and dedication, we will work towards helping you achieve the best possible outcome for your family.
Adopting children can be a wonderful way to build or add to your family, as well as providing a home for children who need one.
However, there is a strict adoption process you will need to go through and a number of legal issues that can arise in connection with adoption.
Having the right legal advice and support is therefore essential.
Our adoption lawyers have many years experience in this area of child law and can provide you with the support you need.
We understand the hurdles and challenges faced by people wishing to adopt can be significant, which is why we are there to give our full support and guide you through each stage smoothly.
No matter how difficult or complicated the circumstances, our experienced child care lawyers are committed to securing the best possible outcome for you and your family.
If social services have taken your child into care, or have threatened to do so, it's important that you are represented by someone who understands the legal process.
We recognize that when social services become involved with your family it can be a distressing and confusing time.
We can help you through the process and represent you at every stage of the legal process.
