Services
Hepburn Delaney was established in 2013 by Jane Hepburn and Rebecca Delaney who had worked together for several years before deciding to set up a specialist family law practice.
Our intention has always been to provide a niche, bespoke service to clients seeking advice on a broad range of family matters and we remain committed to this approach.
Shortly after establishing the firm, it became clear that, in order to provide the legal services that our clients required, advice on Wills, Probate and Powers of Attorney was essential.
Hepburn Delaney's specialist team will advise you sensitively through your family law matter.
Whether you have a new relationship, a relationship breakdown, or you need to make arrangements for your children or finances, our approachable family law solicitors will ensure that you are guided through the matter with clear and thorough advice.
We understand that difficult times require efficient care and our experts provide an excellent service to all clients allowing you to make the decisions that are right for your family.
Going through a divorce is often a stressful and emotional time for all those involved.
Our specialist team of Divorce Solicitors are on hand to guide you through the process, ensuring that each step is managed smoothly.
One party has behaved unreasonably such that the parties cannot be expected to continue living together;.
The parties have been separated for a period of 2 or more years AND both consent to the divorce;.
Once you have petitioned for a divorce citing one of the reasons listed above, a document from your spouse will also need to be filed with the court.
If you have reached a point where you are wanting to dissolve your civil partnership, our team of solicitors can help you.
As with the breakdown of any relationship, it can be a traumatic time and receiving expert advice on how to handle the Dissolution is very important to ensure your best interests are looked after.
Can I get a Civil Partnership Dissolution?
You are required to have been in a Civil Partnership for at least a year before you can apply to the Court to end it.
This is called dissolving a Civil Partnership.
Family mediation is a neutral way of resolving disputes which can arise before, during or after separation or divorce.
The aim is to avoid lengthy and costly court proceedings.
The family mediation process helps divorcing and separating couples come to an agreement for the arrangements of their children and finances in a constructive and structured way.
Our qualified family mediators will guide you through the process, ensuring that you are fully informed throughout.
Our accredited Mediators cannot offer legal advice or counselling, but they are all fully qualified family law Solicitors and registered with the Family Mediation Council, so they will make sure that any agreement or decisions that you make are legally acceptable.
