Carr
Carr and Co Solicitors (Yorkshire) Ltd are Criminal Defence Solicitors and are based in Huddersfield. We represent Private and Legal Aid clients at the Police Station, Magistrates/Crown Courts to the High Court. We offer a friendly and client centred service. The client is paramount and we believe everybody must have access to specialist legal advice in a friendly but professional environment.

We strive to provide specialist advice from initial instruction to the conclusion of the case. Representation is provided in every sphere of Criminal Law and in 2015 the firm was awarded Lexcel a Legal Practice Quality Mark which is Law Society Accredited. You can be interviewed by the Police in many ways. A request to attend the Police Station to be questioned about an incident is called a Voluntary Interview which is conducted under caution and recorded.

An informal chat at home about a criminal offence or even in the back of a police car can be classified as an interview under caution. The consequences of not accessing free legal advice before you are interviewed could be dire and this could effect your future.
