Fussell Wright
Fussell Wright is one of the oldest Solicitors Practices in Bristol dating back to the 19th Century and the reign of Queen Victoria. It has since retained its presence in the centre of Bristol and in 2006 opened another office in Brislington on the southern side of the West Country's prosperous principal City. Our ethos is very simple namely that every client is special and deserves a bespoke legal personal service.

When you instruct us you deal with that Qualified Lawyer and his or her team. You will not be passed from person to person. We like to build up a Personal Relationship with every Client and a high percentage of Clients who come to us then instruct us again. An Instruction to act is to us the commencement of a lifetime of dialogue with Clients. We do not pay Referral Fees and rely solely on trying to provide a good 'value for money service' and Client Recommendation.

We offer a niche legal service and act in the following areas of the Law- this Site gives you a brief description of each area and a brief profile of the Personnel who will be handling your matter.
Services
This is a difficult time for everyone and unfortunately, a time when you are required to deal with copious amounts of paperwork, perhaps the sale of a property and things you do not feel capable of dealing with at this time.
Family members can become agitated and not understand why the process isn't dealt with.
What is a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)?
A Lasting Power of Attorney is an officially recognised document which allows another person(s) to have authority to access your bank accounts to pay bills on your behalf when you are no longer able.
A will is only needed when you die and we are all going to die.
You can make as many wills throughout your lifetime as you want, each one cancelling out (revoking) the previous one, as long as you still have mental capacity - it is not set in stone so don't be frightened.
A will is a document in which you have named the people you want to deal with the administration of your estate following your death.
Hopefully for them, you might have even remembered them in your will?
Without a will, friends and charities will not benefit and the 'Intestacy Rules' will kick in.

Family members can become agitated and not understand why the process isn't dealt with within the date of the funeral and want their inheritance.
Probate is the closure of a person's lifetime trail of bank accounts, pensions, stocks and shares, debts, possibly the sale of their house and the distribution of their estate as per their Will.

The Enduring Power of Attorney has been superseded by Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Enduring Powers of Attorney were a much simpler, shorter document which could be made and then stored until it was needed.
If you have an EPA stored with a Solicitor which has not yet been validated, this can still be validated and used.
You will find our Conveyancing Fees as 'signed posted' on our web site.
Please note these fees are what we would intend to charge you being based on the Price.
On occasions fees can be higher once we have had sight of specific documents, but before we can charge you any higher fee we would give you written notification explaining the reasons and seek your agreement.
Our Fees shown on this site do NOT include Disbursements.
Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties such as search fees.
